Wesley has been watching and reading anything horror related he could get his hands on from the age of 7. So with 22 years experience and self-educating himself in the spooky and terrifying world of horror fiction, turning to writing and publishing in that very genre was a natural and obvious choice.
He idolizes Richard Laymon and Dean Koontz, as their books taught him to be scared, and how to make people scared through carefully selected words.
Every night he watches horror movies, and during the day in-between his work, he reads it. He literally cannot get enough.
Don't let that cute, youthful face deceive you, this young man has a demented mind that becomes all too clear in his writing.

Wesley himself admits that he would not have been able to pursue his passions if it weren't for his supportive network.
“My entire family, along with friends, have always pushed me to 'go for it'. But a special credit has to go to my mother, Debbie Thomas, who has been incredible. She has lifted my spirits when I faced challenges and bumps in the road, and celebrated my achievements.
My dad, Darren Thomas, is also another person in my life who has pushed me forward. He wouldn't allow me to wallow in self-pity, he told me it was 'their loss' and to carry on.”
He is so thankful to his Aunt Sharon, Uncle Mark, cousins Daniel & Jack, and his grandparents, he has featured them as characters in his horror novel, 'The Darkness Waits'.
“My way of expressing gratitude for the support I have received, within my work, is by slaughtering them. The more horrific the death, the more appreciative I am. So you can expect a grizzly death or two in 'The Darkness Waits'".
